Thursday February 20th 2025
	Intro to Clay Class - 6:00PM     This class will cover the bases needed to get started making pottery. We will talk about the different types of clay, the stages the clay goes through and learn how to make a basic pot through both wheels, throwing and hand building. Students will use various pottery hand tools and the pottery wheel.

	**BY INVITATION ONLY*** Cabochon Making/Lapidary Class - 9:00AM     ***Lapidary 101 is prerequisite for this class *** In this course, students will review what they learned in Lapidary 101 and continue the process by taking stones from the preform stage through cabbing and polishing. Fee includes materials (use of studio sanding belts, 1 preform to cab, additional materials available for purchase). Completion of this course certifies the student to utilize the studio unsupervised by a studio manager. Class format: 9-12 instructions and project work, 12-1 break, 1-4 complete projects
