I needed a door for my sauna project. I’ve always been in love with clear vertical grain Douglas fir so I pick up some DF from woodruff timber in Duluth. I didn’t have the right tools and found Makerspace and decided to try it out. I used the joiner, planer, mortising drill, table saw, band saw,chop saw and sanding table. It was a daunting project to build my first door but with the fantastic shop at makerspace Duluth, I was able to make it happen and it turned out beautifully.
