June's featured project is a beautiful wall hanging.

Samantha Schultz drew her design by hand before converting it to laser readable paths. She then used the 100w Laser to burn the lines into reclaimed wood.

Check out a few more samples of her work below, or browse her shop on Etsy!

Great work, Sam!

Joe Says:

It's been a busy and exciting month!

We have acquired a second economical building for additional space. It's an old boys and girls club four blocks away. It will only be accessible with membership. We are referring to it as the MakerCave! We can offer 7+ private office spaces there, as well as a nice meeting/hangout space, storage, bicycle shed, kitchen, gym, gardens, etc.

In other news, we are switching our main group communication system from Google hangouts, to Slack. This will enable non-Gmail users to join and to support separate conversations.

We have unlimited opportunities and needs for help! Gardening, grounds keeping, cleaning, residential repair, painting, desk staffing, grant writing, etc. etc. etc. Our big dreams take work!
