Two Loons Teams Up with DMS

We have always wanted a way for members to be able to sell what they make to our local community.

Two Loons Gallery and Boutique has now made that easier! We have partnered with them to have a display that shows off, and offers up for sale, items made by members of the MakerSpace, and they're even located in our same neighborhood, Lincoln Park! Go check them out.

Joe Says:

501c3 Time! It's been both a very long, and a very quick 3 years! DMS has been both my greatest Joy and Crushing Boulder at times. Members have been amazing and the best of folks. But in order to get more folks to step in and share the load, I'm stepping down. We will be switching DMS to a board managed non-profit. I am amazed that for the first year's crew, everyone I asked, took the job! What a great group. They will need more help though! DMS could really flourish here, but will need more folks taking part. Come join a great group of people! Teach classes, man the desk, advertise, sweep, etc. DMS is never short on stuff needing doing. We are transitioning management currently. Miranda and I will still be around, but hope to serve in more of an "Optional" capacity. Best of Luck DMS!

From the Board

We are excited to help move DMS forward as a non-profit organization.

Our first board members are: Max Elfelt, Rick Umpierre, Alyssa Friesen, Bruce Loppnow and Kris Eilers.

Fred Underwood is our Executive Director and Devan Burnett is the Shop Operations Manager. There are many others helping out in new and continued roles as well.

FYI: Duluth MakerSpace will be closed on Thanksgiving and Black Friday
